Does it cover the geyser?
Geyser is covered from a minimum 6kW system. We recommend adding a smart timer and a low wattage element to get the most out of it.
Do I get a Certificate of Compliance (COC)?
Yes — we issue a solar COC with every installation. Note this is supplementary to your house's electrical COC, so you'll need a valid house COC in place too.
What's the warranty?
A standard 5 Year Warranty on every Luxpower system — covering panels, inverter and battery — plus our own workmanship guarantee on top.
How long does installation take?
Depends on system size — normally 1–2 days, done by our own certified team.
Do you work all over South Africa?
Yes, except the Eastern Cape and Western Cape. A transport/travelling cost applies if you're outside Gauteng.
What maintenance is needed?
Minimal — occasional panel cleaning and routine checks. Quality equipment lasts 20+ years.
Do I need to register with Eskom or my municipality?
We issue the SSEG report for you; you then complete your own registration with your municipality or Eskom.
Can I expand my system later?
Yes — we design every system with future expansion in mind.
